About Me

Where It Started
I have been deeply fascinated by technology since early childhood, and I still am today. Back then, it was mainly Minecraft and Nintendo video games that pulled me into the world of technology. Because of that, in the eighth grade at the age of 14, I chose the elective computer science course at my school, Gymnasium Sulingen, and unknowingly laid the groundwork for my future at SAP. I learned the programming basics by developing short animated movies and video games in SNAP! for my computer science lessons. Later created a movie recommendation system (my first big project) for which I handcrafted functions for data preprocessing and implemented methods such as cosine similarity to compare users and movies.
The Power of Great Teaching
Thanks to my highly motivated and inspiring computer science teacher, who taught me from eighth grade through to my A-levels (13th grade), I entered university exceptionally well prepared, even having covered some university-level material during our lessons. This teacher could have retired some years before my A-levels, but he stayed to ensure our course received the best education possible. After some time, you realize how much influence some people have on your life and how much you can give others by doing your job with passion and sharing your knowledge. So I will always be grateful to my computer science teacher and carry forward his passion for computer science. In 2024, he traveled to Walldorf for a conference, and I had the great opportunity to show him around the SAP campus and where his influence led me.
Where I Am Now
Today, I keep up with the newest technology developments, especially in the field of AI, and deep dive into computer science and IT security by gaining invaluable insights through my work at SAP and my studies at the University of Applied Sciences Darmstadt.
